A guide to turn on Gmail auto responder
Step 1: You access the following link: https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#settings/general
Step 2: Drag your mouse to the Vacation responder item. You check the box Vacation responder on.
Set up for auto reply:
First day and last days: Set up Gmail to automatically reply to a message for a certain period of time. If you do not want to set this item then skip it.
Subject: Auto reply title.
Message: The content of the autoresponder.
Only send a response to people in my Contacts: If you want Gmail to automatically reply to the emails in your contacts, tick in the box.
Finally, click Save changes.
So from now on, when someone sends you an email, Gmail will automatically send them an email (you just set up above) to let them know that you’ve received the email.
